A step to success

On the 20th Feb,
Leo clubs in Region 5 had their RCC Meeting at La Salle Klang
and we would like to thank our V.P, Amanda and our treasurer, Jean who attended the meeting

During the meeting we had a presentation of a video which is to promote our club
and Leo SMK Seafield came out top 5!!!

Leo Idol 2010

As for this year, we're doing things differently compared to last year. Why did I say so? Well because we believe that one doesn't have to a singer to be an Idol! We've prepared many categories for you as well.

Here's the following :
1)Singing (solo/duet/groups of 4)
2) Dancing (solo/duet/groups of 4)
3) Stand Up Comedian (solo)
4) Music Instrumentalist (solo/duet/triplet/quartet) on any musical instrument
5) Beat Boxing (solo)
6) Others (Magic Show, Mime, etc)

This time we will have an "Open Mic" system where all participants solo or group will display their talents. They will be allowed to perform for only 60seconds and IF the judges do not right the bell, they will be allowed to complete their performance of not more than 5 mins :D

• Marks will be tabulated on the spot
  
• Average mark for the participant will be displayed
  
• BEST of 5 will go to Round 2 (perform for 2nd time)
• Each of the 5 finalist are allowed to complete their performance.
  
• One will represent the respective regional preliminary round to the Inter-District LEO Idol finals in Kuala Lumpur in April.

Judges will be Lion Alan Thoo, Lion Marcus Loh, Lion Baki Zainal and lastly, Ms, Norazmah Mohd Yunos from the Ministry of Education, Malaysia (:

For Region 5, it will be organized by Leo Foo Kok Way, Vice President 1 from Leo Club of SMK Batu Lapan.
