Christmas is the time where the spirit is all about " giving is better than receiving "

21st December 2011 ( WED )
Christmas Charity Concert - A White Christmas by SMK SEAFIELD @ Taylor's College ss15 ~ 6-11pm

LEO CLUB OF SMK SEAFIELD organized this event not only to share this year's Christmas with friends and family,
but also gather FUNDS to buy GIFTS for the kids in Rumah Kanak-Kanak Trinti.
It was heart-warming to see many guests arriving and filling up those seats that were once empty.
Lions came to support this event too! That totally gave us more boost :D
There were performances including dancing and singing, speeches, games and dinner!
It was a satisfying ending at the last.
WE HOPE ALL THE GUESTS THERE HAD FUN :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS :D

Enough for the words.
NOW LET'S SEE SOME PICTURES :)
To cut everything short,
Basically it was all about Christmas Trees, Entertainment and Christmas gifts!

That's all for the project :D
For those who were there, We hope you guys had the time of your lives :D
For those who weren't, do not feel too upset, just take note of our next event and COME!
Christmas must be something more than presents and wishes, true, no? ;D

Care and Compassionate in St.Mary's Nursing Home

Things have been coming up very hectic lately.
Everyone's schedule is nothing but only packed.
Although so, Leo Club of Smk Seafield will not back down in time.
We will just go on to help and reach for those who cried out for help.

On the 16th of September 2011, Leo Club of Smk Seafield organized a trip to the old folks' home to visit the aged and also lend a hand.

16/09/2011 ( Friday )

On 16th of September,
Leo Club of Smk Seafield organized a trip to an old folks' home,  ST. MARY'S NURSING HOME. for a visit.
The event was attended by 6 B.O.D members and 9 members. It was a memorable trip.

Throughout the activity, we as Leos learnt alot from the old folks.
To entertain the aged, B.O.D of Leo Club Smk Seafield planned many simple games for them to have a fun time with the leos present.
Games like  ''Wheelchair Race'' , ''Bowling'' , ''Musical Chair''  were planned sincerely for the elderly to fill up the house with laughters and joy.

Besides that, the leos also performed a short dance for the elderly as an act of sincerity.
Later on, the leos were given opportunities to feed them some light fruits while interacting with each other.
It was a heart-warming moment when all the young leos were able to show care and compassionate towards the aged ones.

All the leos had a tremendous time with the elderly at St. Mary's Nursing Home.

At the end of the visit, the leos left the nursing home with a heavy heart, but a joyful soul.
It was an amazing experience.

That's more likely about it.
Here goes the pictures :DEnjoy!
Don't you just feel the warmth and care flooding here and there? :D

Watching those elderly smile and laugh just made the visit very much more meaningful to each and every Leos.
We hope, and will to visit more and more nursing home like St.Mary to give more care and love to the elderly.

PESTA TANGLUNG & HARI RAYA CELEBRATION

10 Sept 2011

Hello :)
This post is mainly about an event that has passed most recently.
It is theme-d " Pesta Tanglung & Hari Raya Celebration "
sponsored by the very Lions Club Of Subang Jaya.
This event was held in MPSJ Stadium, 4-11pm.

The leos from many schools arrived there at 10am
to help settle all the preparations for this event.
Leo B.O.D of Smk Seafield and some members went too :)
After spending hours there, the booths were finally setting up.
As for Leo Club of Smk Seafield,
we organized a game called HAPPY FEET.
It was basically a pool of iced water, with some toys and marbles.
The main idea was to use your bare feet to grab the marbles in the ICY water.
For every marble, A point is gained :)
Nobody was interested at first, but everything went well after that :D

Later on in the evening,
The performances started and more people came.
The whole situation was packed and fun.
There were food, dancing , singing and also games.
Unfortunately, it started pouring cats and dogs,
some performers had to perform on the high stage indoors instead.
There were a group of dancers who decided to dance in the rain,
lucky for them the audience was well entertained and everything ended with a nice memory.
Here goes some photos to give you guys a better painting about what happened that day.
It was a meaningful celebration of Lantern Festival+Hari Raya for all the leos and people present.
HAPPY LANTERN FESTIVAL TO YOU GUYS TOO :)
